The Model RWW Reciprocating Water Chillers are completely factory assembled and tested packages consisting of a water cooled condenser, liquid cooler, and one or more accessible hermetic compressors. The unit includes all interconnecting piping and wiring as well as operating and safety controls. The Models RWW are available with wide variety of cooling ranges. These extensive models are specially designed for hotels, stores, hospitals and process cooling applications of modern manufacturing industries.

  A number of design features contribute to the exceptional operating efficiency and long service life of these chillers. Staged loading of compressor cylinders reduces motor stress and high current draw at start-up. Thermostatically controlled cylinder unloading automatically maintains constant water temperatures to as low as 12.5 percent of full load. Coolers and condensers are selected and computer-balanced for optimum heat transfer efficiency at high suction temperatures. Multiple compressors are standard on 045 and larger units with each compressor provided with an independent refrigerant circuit. The result is excellent system reliability with energy efficiency ratios as high as 15.4 at full load and much higher at part load conditions.

  Other standard features include internally protected motors, lead-lag switch on multiple compressor units, instrument panels for each refrigerant circuit with gauges to provide constant monitoring of system performance, and compact designs which permit all models to pass through normal door openings.
